At TTM Technologies, environmental stewardship is a high priority. In accordance with this, we have developed and implemented Waste Minimization Plans in our facilities. These plans include hazardous substance use, hazardous waste reduction, and recycling.
When waste generation is unavoidable we are committed to reducing its environmental impacts on land, water, air, and human health through beneficial recycling. To enhance our efforts, we will utilize lower toxicity raw materials and lower energy processes whenever possible.
Most TTM divisions are ISO 14001:2004 certified, and those that are not yet certified have a plan to achieve certification by 2009.

RoHS and WEEE
We value our position in the supply chain and work with our customers and suppliers in a holistic fashion toward common objectives. TTM Technologies as well as most printed circuit board manufacturers can supply product compliant with European Union directive 2002/95/EC, commonly known as 'RoHS'. At TTM, we have taken it further to ensure that you will receive, not just compliant product, but one that will survive the higher temperatures required for lead-free assembly. We have an extensive materials test program that is used to identify the best materials for lead-free assembly applications. These include multiple "halogen free" base materials and solder masks.
TTM's printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies are considered components, but can be recycled at end-of-life in support of the mandatory recycling goals established by EU Directive 2002/96/EC, often referred to as "WEEE". (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). While this directive applies to manufacturers of specified equipment that is placed on the market, TTM can provide material composition declaration (MCD) information on its products. TTM has a MCD team and a dedicated RoHS Coordinator to provide such information to its customers in the latest IPC 1752 MCD reporting format.
